The project enhances the community aspect of a church through dedicated spaces: the library, exhibition spaces, workshops. The natural relief plays an important role as well – the project is taking advantage of the mountain slope that is sitting on, creating sitting places, promenades, view spots etc.
The proportions of the windows, the wooden elements, and the silhouette of the church use as a reference both the traditional Romanian churches in the area and the Cantacuzino Castle. The materials used are earthy and light, and the outside of the church is a white/beige textured plaster, contrasting with the vibrant, colourful interior.
